The resident's stipend is $58,000 per year for PGY-1, $60,000 per year for PGY-2, $62,000 per year for PGY-3
Residents will receive 20 (twenty) paid vacation days per year.
Uniforms (Lab coats/Lab Jackets/Scrubs) will be provided by the Medical Center.
Health insurance (with employee contributions), disability insurance, malpractice, Worker's Compensation insurance and dental and vision benefits (with employee contributions) are supplied. Confidential Counseling Services can be provided to residents via the GME office/Human Resources/Employee Health Services as needed.
Ample parking is available free of charge in the Medical Center parking lot.
There are two on-call rooms available on the second floor of BMHMC for residents on night duty. This allows them to read or rest while not immediately needed on the floor. These rooms include a computer workstation, shower and restroom facilities and space for personal belongings.
A medical library is open during weekdays and is also available for use after hours and on weekends. It can be accessed electronically with the hospital ID badge. Electronic Resources will be continuously available on site and remotely. These include: Up-to-Date, Visual DX, Medical Journals via the NYIT College of Medicine, and other extensive Medical Library Resources

ACP dues are paid.
Purchased at orientation. Includes print and digital format.
ACLS/BLS training. Free meals in the Hospital's Employee Cafeteria for breakfast and lunch between the hours of 6:30am - 4:00pm Monday through Friday. Free meals are also provided during night float rotations.
